Dear Members of the Bay Area Youth Football League Community,

Welcome! We're delighted to have you with us as we gear up for what promises to be a thrilling season of football.  Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, we're committed to providing a safe, enjoyable and enriching environment for all .

This season brings exciting news we proudly announce our inclusion to the Central Michigan Youth Football League (CMYFL). This collaboration opens up new horizons for our players, offering opportunities to compete against a broader array of teams right here in our local area. In this inaugural year with CMYFL, We'll field three teams consisting of 5^th and 6^th grade students.  Notably, there will be no weight limits for the league, though certain restrictions will apply to offensive skill position players. 

For students entering 7^th and 8^th grade, we encourage you to consider joining your school's team for an enriching experience on and off the field.

Each team will have the chance to showcase their skills with three home games and three away games in the local area.  Our home games will be hosted at St. Stan's Field, providing a central location for our community to come together and support our young athletes.  Additionally, we're excited to culminate the season with a thrilling Bowl Week celebration. 

We recognize the vital role that youth sports play in shaping the lives of young people, and we are dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive experience for all participants.  If you ever have any questions, concerns or suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our dedicated team of volunteers and staff members.

• Weigh-in - Equipment Handout Dates and Times:
  • Tuesday, July 30th from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
  • Thursday, August 8th from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
  • ***You must bring birth certificate and proof of residency to weigh-in. 
• Weigh-in Location - St. Hyacinth Field House (across street from gym on South Monroe Street)
• First Practice - Monday, August 19th
• First Games (tentatively scheduled) - Saturday, September 7th
• Game Location - 3 Home and 3 away - TBD
